M.A., LPCC

The therapeutic process has been shrouded in mystery for generations. Often it can seem like life has hit its lowest point, and there seem to be no answers; that moment is the moment just before the breakthrough. Still, it is simply a conversation between two people at the end of the day, one of whom happens to be less anxious than the other. Ben Adams understands how difficult it can be to reach out during the difficult moments of life because the first step is usually the hardest. He brings authenticity, stillness, and a conversational tone to the therapeutic relationship. Ben believes that we all can find the answers we seek, and that it is a great honor to help guide people to a better tomorrow.

At Foundations Counseling, Ben Adams works with a variety of clients who seek services, including:

  • Relationship and Couples Counseling – couples counseling, communication, affair recovery, sexuality and intimacy issues, dating issues, pre-engagement, pre-marital, attachment issues, boundaries
  • Life Transitions – spirituality, geographical transition, job transition, newlyweds, grief and loss, life stages, career counseling
  • Individual Counseling – anxiety, divorce recovery, stress, issues of race and multiculturalism, catastrophic thinking, self-worth issues, abandonment issues, life coaching
